My paintings usually involves some sort of story or thought that hopefully engages the viewer. Mystery and elements unsaid intrigue me. Texture and text used in paintings hold a fascination. Using skills that I have learned over many years helps me redeem these paintings, disorder becomes order. I agree with artist Michael Mew who said, “The meaning of a piece often becomes apparent only in the end. It’s like finding a secret message that you have sent yourself”.
